Honey |
Since many bears show strong natural talents in this direction, why waste them? As far as I'm concerned, there can never be too many places to buy honey. Expect large cleaning bills though - honey and fur are a very messy mix! |

E-commerce |
If you can read this, your pet human is connected to the World Wide Web. There are millions of other bears and people also connected, many of whom spend hours and hours in front of their computers. These people are ready to spend some money. A wise, and technically capable, bear should make the most of this opportunity. Just wait until your pet human is out of the house and they'll never work out why the phone bill is so high! |

Unwise businesses for the commercial bear From past experience, I strongly recommend that any bear wishing to enter the commercial world avoids certain fields. This is not to say that a bear cannot make his or her mark in these fields of endeavour. There will always be some of us who can turn a paw to anything or have a certain furry magic that will allow them to succeed even when surrounded by apparent failure on all sides. However, for the majority of us, there are certain pitfalls, however tempting, that a bear will be wise to avoid. In particular, I suggest that the commercial bear thinks long and hard before getting into any business involving any of the following: |

Children |
Yes, enjoying the company of your own pet children is a lovely thing. Other children are a completely different matter. It is a brave bear indeed who can put up with continuous arm and leg pulling, fur plucking, ear tugging.... Need I continue? |

Athletic activities |
Naturally we all must take occasional exercise to prevent the old joints furring up and to stop the stuffing accumulating in the lower regions! However, most of us are not cut out for the sporting life prefering to take life at a slower, and safer, pace. Get your stitching checked out before doing anything very strenuous. |

Rabbits. Although a few of our long-eared friends are high minded members of the business community, far too many are, let us say, subject to the calls of nature. Such fellows are too easily swayed by the sight of a finely sewn leg or a sparkling button eye. No sensible decision can be expected of a rabbit in the spring. Many would extend that caveat to the other three seasons. |
