I am very worried about the future of the many Bears who have been given as 'gifts' over Christmas, what will become of them? Worried of Camberley.

You are forgetting, Worried ,that many successful Bear careers have started with a placement at Christmas. A short period of time in the retail environment followed by hands-on human management training can do wonders for one's career.

Will the Millennium Bug pose a threat to Business Bears? Anxious of Amersham.

Any Bear who gives even the most basic attention to hygiene should have no problem with bugs of any kind. From a personal point of view, Business Bears are closer to celebrating a century rather than two thousand years, so your own 'furry clock' has a long way to go!

Whether we are in the early throes of the next recession or not a Bear should always remember that it is wise to spend less than your income and always have a spare pot of honey. Even in such a technological age, there is no such thing as a sure thing.
